What is an avatar in the context of the KIT Career Fair?

An avatar is a digital representation of a real person in a virtual environment. The representatives of your company who will participate in the virtual KIT Career Fair 2022 for booth support will receive individual access data to the virtual trade fair environment linked to their e-mail addresses and associated avatars. The avatars will be generated from photos of the respective persons and graphically integrated into the representation of the trade fair stand.

Depending on the stand package you have booked, you have two (Basic), three (Standard) or five (Premium ) avatars at your disposal. In addition, there is a so-called offline avatar, which is always displayed when the stand is not actively occupied by a logged-in person, for example in the evening or during the four-week archiving phase. By clicking on this offline avatar, visitors can send a message to an e-mail address you have previously specified.

What advantages do additional avatars offer me?

• Experts from many different departments are present at the booth for the students.
• Even at peak times, students will find a contact person at your booth.
• The stand supervisors can work in shifts. Thus, there's no need for a small number of employees to have to block complete working days for the KIT Career Fair.
• Even after lectures, short presentations, and booked advertising services, you can professionally handle the sometimes immense crowds at the booth.
• In case of short-term booth staff absences, sufficient back-ups are available.
• Representatives of the management, HR, etc. can also participate in the KIT Career Fair as observers.

What do I get when I book an AVATAR PACKAGE?

When you book an AVATAR PACKAGE, you receive an additional five, ten or 15 avatars, depending on the size of the package, which are available to you for the entire duration of the trade fair. Please note, that this package is only avalable for exhibitors with a Standard or Premium booth. Basic booths cannot be upgraded with more avatars.

How do our AVATARS get onto the trade fair platform?

All photos and contact details of your stand attendants can be conveniently posted later via our Career Service portal. We will announce the exact time when the entry will be possible with sufficient advance notice.
