What does SHORT PRESENTATION mean in the context of the KIT Virtual Career Fair?

SHORT PRESENTATIONS have long been an integral part of the KIT Career Fair. This has not changed in the virtual space. Prominently placed in the Mainhall is an auditorium especially reserved for this part of the fair program, where exhibiting companies can introduce themselves to interested students.

On each day of the fair, 10-minute SHORT PRESENTATIONS will be played between 09:00 and 15:00 at HH:00, HH:20 and HH:40. Thus, there are 18 slots available for booking per day.

Everything from a recorded video message from the board of directors to an elaborately produced image film to a mini-documentary of everyday office life filmed by the students themselves using their cell phones has already been shown. Students enjoy creativity and authenticity just as much as practical relevance and first-hand information that cannot necessarily be found directly on your company's homepage.

What is new at the KIT Career Fair 2022?

This year, completely new, the Q&A session connected to your SHORT PRESENTATION will no longer take place in the auditorium in the Mainhall, but directly at your booth. After the end of the presentation, all persons present in the auditorium at that time will automatically be brought to your booth. Here there is the possibility of an individual exchange as well as further research about your links at the booth, your job wall and - if booked - your VIDEO SCREEN.

And there is another innovation: In 2022, you can - if available - book more than one SHORT PRESENTATION for the first time, namely one per trade fair day and up to three over the entire trade fair period. This will enable you to reach many more students than in previous years.

What do I get when I book a SHORT PRESENTATION?

When you book a SHORT PRESENTATION, you receive a 10-minute slot in Auditorium C in the Mainhall of the virtual trade fair environment. Within this slot, a video recorded and delivered by you in advance will be played. All SHORT PRESENTATIONS will be advertised at various locations within the exhibition program, i.e. you will also benefit from this additional advertising service. Following the KIT Career Fair 2022, a four-week archiving phase begins during which all SHORT PRESENTATIONS can continue to be accessed on demand.

How does my SHORT PRESENTATION get onto the trade fair platform?

When booking your trade fair participation, you first select only the number of SHORT PRESENTATIONS you would like to offer. You can submit your desired day(s), title and short description(s) at a later date via our Career Service Portal. We will announce the exact time when submission will be possible with sufficient advance notice.
