What does FACHVORTRAG mean in the context of the virtual KIT career fair?

FACHVORTRÄGE have been an integral part of the KIT Career Fair for a long time. This has not changed in the virtual space. Prominently placed in the Mainhall are two auditoriums especially reserved for this part of the fair program, where exhibiting companies can inspire the interested students with exciting topics from practice.

On each day of the fair, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., two FACHVORTRÄGE will be offered simultaneously on the hour. Thus, a total of twelve slots per day are available for booking.

Students enjoy creativity and originality just as much as practical relevance and first-hand information that cannot necessarily be found directly on your company's homepage.

What advantages do FACHVORTRÄGE offer my company?

With a FACHVORTRAG, you achieve great visibility and a prominent placement of your company and your content in the Mainhall of the trade fair environment, in the trade fair program, and as part of the accompanying communication around the trade fair (web, social media, email, out-of-home, etc.).

The FACHVORTRÄGE of the KIT Career Fair 2021 reached an average of almost 200 interested students, at the peak even more than 320!

NEW this year: Your FACHVORTRAG can be designed jointly by up to nine speakers.

What do I get when I book a FACHVORTRAGS?

By booking a FACHVORTRAGS you will receive a one-hour slot in one of the two auditoriums A or B in the Mainhall of the virtual trade fair environment. The talk will be broadcast live and can be given by up to nine speakers. Each live talk will be accompanied by designated technical support staff to ensure a stable broadcast.

All FACHVORTRÄGE will be advertised at various locations as part of the exhibition program, i.e. you will also benefit from this additional advertising service. Following the KIT Career Fair 2022, a four-week archiving phase will begin during which all FACHVORTRÄGE can still be accessed on demand.

How many FACHVORTRÄGE can I book?

This is also NEW in 2022: You can book - if available - one FACHVORTRESS per trade show day and up to three over the entire trade show period.

When booking your trade fair participation, you first select only the number of FACHVORTRÄGE you would like to offer. You can conveniently submit the desired day(s), title, speakers, abstract(s) and presentation(s) (PPT) at a later time via our Career Service Portal. We will announce the exact time when the submission will be possible with sufficient advance notice.
